Speaking Engagements
Welcome to my speaker page! I'm Dra. Aurora Chang, founder of Academic Life Simplified. I am an educator, scholar, and entrepreneur who provides editorial, educational, and emotional support to academics who are planning, in the midst of, or about to birth to an important project or journey.
My mission? To help academics write and live with compassion, authenticity, & power.
I love sharing my path as a once undocumented Guatemalan immigrant to a hyperdocumented academic scholar, educator, and entrepreneur. My goal is to inspire and empower individuals to live their most authentic life by imagining, daring, and creating courageously.
My experience as a tenured professor and academic administrator have exposed me to the complexities of faculty life, especially for women of color. What I know for sure is that we deserve more.
